Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best known for the roles she performed as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA from Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch school of the arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a producer as well as an American actor who is active in theater in film, television, and theatre. Her acting journey began as a theater actress and then appeared in numerous television series and independent and mainstream films. The actress was famous for her role as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. The series both received praise from critics, and she also received a number of accolades. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career she is most famous for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a character in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
