Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing to Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She won her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina through the ground and pound strategy which resulted in the TKO second round victory. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. She fought her first big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
