Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was in second grade when she was five years old. Her parents believed her to be academically gifted. She graduated from Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her win Miss Crawford County. Stone and her Aunt in 1977, made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Stone soon moved to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan and Paris. Stone was disillusioned with the fashion industry that was thriving in Europe began acting as she lived in Europe. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," a film that received mixed reviews.
